The non-profit's Outreach Program embodied a long-held vision of Deshae's to provide fellow persons w/severe physical disabilities the kind of help and hope that has been and remains so instrumental to her life and work.
When greater personal health and health care complications converged for Deshae, CMMS Deshae Lott Ministries Inc.’s board members in December 2017 supported a transition that years earlier they had resolved eventually would transpire: CMMS Deshae Lott Ministries Inc.’s assets would be transferred to the Texas A&M University Foundation, representing Deshae’s alma mater, thereby creating the Lott-Sadow-Cleveland scholarship for graduate students with severe physical disabilities. This evolution provides longevity to the vision and goal of CMMS Deshae Lott Ministries Inc.’s Outreach Program’s scholarships.
